After making sweaters and hats and blankets and bibs for babies, I needed a break. There is so much of that stuff one can make, especially when it seems like all your friends are suddenly procreating!
Heather, my friend and colleague, had a baby, so I came up with this (eccentric) shrug for little Julia. Yap, I just made it up as I went along. It is made with purple and cream Sugar N' Cream yarn on US 10 needles.
Here are pictures of the shrug (front and back). And of course, here is the cutest Julia modeling my crazy creation.

If I crocheted better, I would ask you for the pattern.
I know you said you made it up as you went along but hopefully you wrote it down as well.
