Firstly, the book Classic Knits, from where I got this pattern, is outstanding and true to its title. All the patterns are beautiful, timeless, and classic. One of my friends is itching to make the "kelly cardigan".
Here is the vest I am making. Well, the book calls it a tank top, I call it a vest. I am using Rowan's Big Wool on US 13 and 15 (PS: There is an error in the book for this pattern's gauge. Also, the recommended needle size of 17 didnt knit up a good fabric. So I made some size changes according to my new needle size).
