Want something to eat while you knit? Or just hang out with other knitters? The Point Knitting Cafe in Lower Manhattan might be the place for you.This yarn store is one of my favorite places to knit. Firstly, it has a wonderful selection of yarn, all propped up on the wall. I love the basket idea! Secondly, it is a great place to meet like-minded crafters...the Point is the meeting place of Stitch 'N Bitch NYC. I do find the idea of cafe/ yarn store quite intriguing. It provides a perfect avenue for knitters to do what they love...and stay longer!
Also, Barbara Kerr holds classes here. If not for anything else, she might be the point for visiting this yarn store.
