Ami and Nihar at their engagement party (March 2007)
My better half and soul mate-sister, Ami, wants to make sure I say this out loud. So here I am:
I hereby swear to the entire yarny community that her wedding present is in progress. I bought the yarn a month back, and have started the project. It is less than 1/4th done, and it will be ready by her wedding day. It has to be.
I really wish I could post the ongoing "project", but with Ami snooping around, I have to wait until her wedding--December 29 (!). Wooh, that IS close.
How could I not post THIS picture though! Here we are: scary faced, scary eyed Ami (she is going to kill me for putting this up!) and me.

Mhmmm...the title of this posting should read: Knitting to Relieve Guilt. :) I know your surprise is going to be amazing, but just for the record, I would have gladly had you at my wedding and had no gift at all! That being said, what color is it? How big is it? When can I have it???
Ami: You crack me up, and thats why I love you so much. That being said, I am going to pull together all my self-control, and not tell you a thing. SO THERE.
