Yarnventure 4: Karma and Knitting

Last Wednesday, I was at Karma and Knitting (Buffalo, NY) after a long three-four months. I missed MaryAnn very much...here she is, winding some yarn for me (Cascade Sierra!). I have learnt a lot from her--MaryAnn is not just a creative knitter, but also a patient teacher and great friend. As always, her store is warm and welcoming. It was really good to be back.

Of course, how could I not write about MaryAnn's parrot, Gomez. If you know of Karma and Knitting, you definitely know of this talkative fellow and his love for knitting. He is a great writer too--he writes all the yarn store emails! If you think I am kidding, call the store.

Awww--Gomez is a cutie. One of my LYS has a resident bird. I don't know about sending emails, but he loves visiting with customers. :)

:) MaryAnn writes the emails on behalf of Gomez. They are really funny.
