Crafty Kerala: Wooden handicraft

Rayan (my brother), his partner Vaishali, and their friends from New Zealand just returned from a three-day holiday in Cochin and Munnar (both places in Kerala, a southern state in India). The nice brother Rayan is, I received many crafty gifts and yarnydays blog received many pictures. I am posting a little of both; [Crafty] God's own country (alias Kerala) in action.

Hmm. Do I want some wooden handicraft or do I want some ocean?

Rayan got me wonderful green tea leaves from this tea shop

And oh yes. Here are my new wooden ornaments (though they can also be used as kitchenware)
for my kitchen.

I love reading your blogs! Just wanted to be sure you knew that! An interesting view of life beyond the USA borders! I lived in Australia for a few months and it really opened up my eyes that the USA isn't the only place on earth!!! Thanks Rima!
