It is not bad though. I love it (I do wish I did not have to do the dishes, but guess I have to now). Living with my parents is always "fantabulous", but it is very nice to be back to a space that I call mine. For instance, my own kitchen, where I know FOR SURE where the ingredients are. I love to cook and since I am a self-taught cookie, I am constantly into some or the other kind of experimentation. One of the recent dinners was Spicy (I think everything I made is usually spicy) Vegetable Pasta.
The brown "stuff" in it are various Indian spices waiting to be stirred in. Strange but true and edible.
I had yummy veggie momos. Hmmm, but they were shaped like Chinese dumplings, and not the way I am used to seeing them.
She picked the color and I picked the pattern. I have never tried a ripple pattern and I am loving it!
I am thinking of adding some beads on it...if I succeed in holding onto my ripple stole enthusiasm.

Wow, the pasta looks yummy :)
I have never tried crocheting ripples myself, I think I will give it a go.
Take Care

I love ripples, myself. That said, I don't think it is too plain Jane. Some beads would make it fabulous and elegant.
I don't think it looks too plain - jane! I love the peach colour, and the texture adds a lot of movement to it.
I really like the pattern. Some beads on the end could be a really nice touch though. Good idea!
No, I don't think it looks plain. The color is beautiful and as desiknitter says, the pattern adds texture.
first of all... I love the colour and the ripples
haven't tried ripples yet myself, although I plan to fairly soon... usually I see them worked in stripes of colour, and the solid peach you have chosen is very refreshing... you can just enjoy the pattern that develops without busying it up with lots of different colours
that being said... if you wanted to add a little pizzazz to it, beads would look magnificent!
Hi Rima,
I came here by way of The Crazed Crocheter.
The spicy pasta looks great! I love spice, and so does my palette. :)
I think the peach scarf looks great; I've never rippled before, but I definitely want to have a go at it after seeing yours, ha.
I am sure your mother would like it, with or without beads.
Adding you to my blog-roll now,
Juanita
For what it's worth, I think the stole looks nice as is, especially because you've got the ripples goin' on. Some beads would definitely be pretty, though. Nice job!
Welcome home! I am drooling over some of these photos in your blog - both the food and the wondrous knit creations! You make me want to take up knitting! And the colors are so gorgeous, the peach here , the purple hat, and I just loved that red/orange combo on the scarf from your swap package. *drool*
That pasta looks super yummy! Spicy can be good no matter what you cook, ok well except for maybe oatmeal ;)
The ripple looks great!! I think a few beads would add some pizzaz too it if you are looking to jazz it up, but ripples on their own are just as beatuful :)
I really like that scarf, and I agree with the bead idea! That could be so pretty, especially if the beads were in a color close to that of the scarf, maybe with a little sparkle. I love adding beads to projects...
its lunch time and you made me more hungry!
and I heart the peach color.
What a great swap package. Love those little granny sq earrings!
