Sending Celebratory Sweets your way!

Thank you very much for all the wishes! Suketu and I are very preoccupied with figuring out this new game. Some of you wanted to know if Cupcake has learned how to knit yet (!) Trust me, people...I have dreams of a crafting QUEENdom, where of course, yours truly is Queen, and Cupcake is the assistant. Boy oh Boy.

Dad and Daughter

In true Indian style, the grandmothers spent yesterday fixing up sweet boxes to distribute amongst family and friends. Like in most cultures, something sweet is given out on happy occasions. (Ah, the life Cupcake has). More than the sweets, I always look forward to the packaging.

In true blog/virtual style, here are some celebratory sweets, from us to you. With much love.

Yum, that's my favorite kind of ladoo with the roasted fragrance. The boxes look amazing I didn't realize that these were available in North America. Knitting assistant - fantastic idea!!! I should probably teach Kiki to seam, weave in ends, block maybe even steek. Then all I need to do is knit, pure bliss!
